bouncing here and there and everywhere

Hey guys, so what's going on? Yeah, nothing exciting I bet. Well, last week Hoss and I went and saw the Aquabats/Epoxies/Phenomnauts tour. It was most awesome. Got to see lots of people I knew and danced a bunch. Plus the Aquabats have such a great live show what with the fighting, commercials, and music and all. I think the best part was... oh wait, maybe I shouldn't say if you haven't gone yet. Hmm... how about I say, "Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world..." Aww, yeah.

Anyways, the Aquabats were supposed to be our last show for awhile. Then we ended up going to the Reel Big Fish show on Friday. Why? Well...

Aaron Barrett put us on the guest list. Seriously. How fucking cool is that? You might be thinking that's badass that we know him and he hooked us up or that he's a fan or something amazing, but you'd be wrong. Uber 21dm fan Casey hooked us up by some miraculous force and we are forever grateful to her. All we had to do was give Aaron a shirt is what she said. So after the show, we waited around for him. Nice guy. I don't think he really expected us to give him a shirt and he had no clue what 21deadmonkeys is. Oh, and he talked about how he almost forgot to put us on the list until he pulled out a note about it when he was paying for lunch. So yeah.

Oh, the show? Was it worth it to go? Well we showed up late and missed Zolof. Punchline wasn't anything spectacular, but they seem like nice people. El Pus is awesome, show up in time for them. And then Reel Big Fish played. It seemed like a short set or something. Like there wasn't much interaction between members between songs. That bummed me out a bit because that's usually a highlight for me. I can't really give you a setlist cuz I wasn't really paying too much attention. I know they played "All I Want is More" because I like that song and was happy they played it. Oh and Hoss finally got to see "SR" in all its many glories. Really though, I was just out to have a good time with the people around me. I could list a bunch of names, but you wouldn't have any idea who I'm talking about, would you? Well, unless you were one of them maybe. I think the best part for me (besides getting to say that Aaron put me on the guest list) was seeing That Guy. For those not in the know, That Guy is this guy that I used to see at damn near every show I went to. Then I just stopped seeing him, which bummed me out. I mean, he's such a nice guy, he never stops dancing, and I have the hugest crush on him. Hmmm... now that I think about it, he was at Ska is Dead 2 because I mentioned him in that comic about it. Well anyways, Hoss and I had presumed that he was dead. It's nice to know he's not. Yeah, so that was that.

I guess I should mention that someone set up a 21deadmonkeys myspace group. I'm in it and so is Hoss. Now you guys can go hang out and talk about stuff.
