Hopefully everybody heard that the Streetlight show at the Happy Badger was canceled. Streetlight Manifesto had some type of family emergency to attend to back at home and canceled the remainder of their dates.

So that's the third show that I've missed out on in three weeks. Seriously. I was gonna go see I Voted for Kodos back on the 12th, but I ended up having to work my second job that night. Then last week I was gonna go to that 7 Seconds show but I ended up working late at my regular job because three managers called off. Now this week I'm being denied Streetlight Manifesto. In case you didn't notice, I'm a bit of a concert junkie. Live music and people dancing, that's how I get my fix. I'm making a point of it next week to see a show or two. That one on April 2nd at the Token Lounge looks pretty cool. I've heard good things about Tsunami Bomb, but they're playing with the F-ups (ugh). And isn't Folly like some kind metal/hardcore band with a touch of the ska? I thought that's what I heard. Since they're playing on my birthday, it might be something to do.

Thanks to everybody who wrote me trying to cheer me up. I now realize that the rude boys in Alaska have it far worse than me. It also helped that I got a chance to talk to one of my best friends from Cali. Big hugs.

Oh yeah, the comic... I think this explains the death of (poorly drawn) Vinnie we had a comic or two back. Plus in the last panel, I was like, "Hoss, I don't think anyone's going to get this besides us." And he was like, "Who cares? It's not like we do this for anyone." And then I was like, "Word."
